Patch deployment is a typical example of Standard Change. A description of the implementation timeframe and strategy, as well as a carefully monitored development of the testing environment and a back-out plan, are also essential.
Emergency Changes, out of all the Change Categories, are the ones that demand immediate attention owing to their unpredictability. Transition management has several exceptions, which are to be anticipated because it allows for a lot faster change.
