The APMG Change Management Course improves confidence and knowledge

The global pandemic has boosted business transformation, which has led to a rise in the need for those with change management abilities. We asked people for feedback to find out if our Change Management Foundation program had prepared them for the difficulties they had encountered in recent years. The survey results and the positive feedback from candidates demonstrate that the nearly 180 training providers in our global network that offer this course are doing a great job. improving attendees’ confidence and imparting an understanding of change management.

Methodology and Respondents

Previous examiners who passed the Change Management Foundation exam between July 2020 and July 2022 received an email with a link to APMG’s survey.

As everyone enjoys a good giveaway, we handed away a new Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) reference book to encourage participation in the survey, which was open from July 28 to August 18.

112 people responded in all, and although there is always room for growth, the findings showed how helpful our course is for helping change managers grow.

Key Findings

• 98% of respondents claimed that their training and certification in change management had improved them as change managers.
• Every single person said the training session improved their understanding of change management.
• A change management certification, according to 46% of applicants, improved their income potential.
• 97% of respondents claimed that the training session had increased their personality when handling change.
• 94% said they left the course with knowledge and abilities they could use right away.
• A little over one in four people claimed that their change management certification helped in their employment or promotion.
